Privacy Policy

Effective July 28, 2026

This page is maintained by The B3 Method Institute to explain how the Burnout Antidote app ("the app") handles your information. It applies to the web app and to the iOS and Android apps published under the same name.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account or sign in with Google.
  • Practice activity. Which videos you watch, checklist items you complete, mantras you save, podcast episodes you mark as listened, your streaks, and your onboarding preferences.
  • Notification data. If you turn on daily reminders, we store a push notification subscription token from your browser or device and the reminder time you choose.
  • Billing information. Subscription status, plan, renewal date, and a customer identifier from our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Technical data. Basic log data such as device type, browser, and timestamps, used to keep the service running and secure.

How we use your information

  • To provide the app: sign you in, show your library, track your daily ritual and progress.
  • To send the daily reminders you have explicitly enabled.
  • To process your subscription, trial, renewals, and cancellations.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To diagnose problems and protect the service from abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or ad targeting.

Service providers we share data with

  • Hosting and database. Our application hosting and managed database provider stores your account and activity data.
  • Google Sign-In. Used only if you choose to sign in with Google; we receive your name, email, and profile photo.
  • Stripe. Processes subscription payments and stores your payment method on our behalf.
  • Video and audio hosts. Practice videos are embedded from YouTube and Vimeo, and podcast audio is streamed from our podcast host. Playing that media means the relevant provider receives a request from your device.
  • Web push services. Delivering a notification routes it through the push service operated by your browser or device vendor.

Data retention

We keep your account and practice history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, practice history, saved mantras, and push subscription within 30 days. Billing records are retained for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your choices and rights

  • Turn daily reminders on or off at any time from the You tab.
  • Cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in the app.
  • Request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing info@b3method.com.

Children

Burnout Antidote is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls that restrict each account's records to that account. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your information and to correct issues promptly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app.
